Who We Are

Jason DuVal

Chief Executive Officer

 

Jason DuVal’s career in the Firearms Industry began in 2000 with a position at Shooters Mercantile as Director of Law Enforcement Sales. From there he moved on to Crimson Trace Corporation as the Law Enforcement Sales Manager and Firearms Instructor, providing him with the opportunity of working with the industries best instructors.  Individuals such as Massad Ayoob,  Clyde Caceres, Wes Doss,  Ken Hackathorn, Dave Harrington, Marty Hayes, Todd Jarrett, Ernest Langdon, Tim Lau, Ben Lenett,  Larry Vickers and Hilton Yam just to name a few.  During this time, Jason had the unique opportunity to teach numerous law enforcement agencies, government entities and military units including Special Operations qualified personnel.

As the NW Regional Law Enforcement Sales Manager for Sig Sauer he was responsible for live fire demonstration of Sig Sauer firearms, training end users, sales and armoring in a territory consisting of the 13 western states.

Mr. DuVal holds the distinguished title of 3 Gun Master from the Firearms Academy of Seattle. He is also a NRA Law Enforcement Instructor for pistol and shotgun. In addition, Jason has over 500 hours of training as a student and over 800 hours instructing various firearms disciplines. Jason’s emphasis is low light shooting skills with a focus on the use of laser sighting systems as a low light advantage and is considered an industry expert in their deployment.

Sean Morrison

Firearms Training Consultant

Sean is a former full time Law enforcement Officer, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and currently has more than ten years experience inside the U.S. Military's Special Operations Community. His extensive and diverse operational background offers a unique perspective to his training, tactics and techniques taught by Liberty Training Group. Using lessons learned from combat in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq, Sean provides a "real world" look into what works, what doesn't and what it takes to survive in dynamic and fast moving lethal force encounters.

   Tamra and Kelly Tourville

Unarmed Personal Protection Consultants 

Tamra and Kelly Tourville are our lead unarmed personal protection training team that have over twenty years combined experience with studying and teaching self defense tactics and awareness.

Tamra's self defense experience started in 1990 when she became a police officer in the state of Oregon. Her interest for defensive tactics didn't stop there. She went on to become a self defense instructor for both men and women. She was awarded a self defense tactics award, certified as a self protection instructor and has several other awards for her teaching of self defense courses.

Kelly’s interest in defensive tactics began many years ago and has continued to expand her knowledge in training and instructing. Kelly Tourville will be a valuable asset to Liberty Training Group assisting Tamra Tourville in defensive tactics training.

Tamra and Kelly instruct in techniques including hand to hand combat, take downs, holds and ground fighting. They both have a strong belief that each individual should prepare for and feel confident in their ability to defend themselves in the event of an attack. Their course outlines and curriculum will reflect that, along with the personalized attention this team dedicates to each student, providing the necessary tools to help a person not be a victim. Tamra and Kelly’s knowledge and experience will bring valuable unarmed defensive technique training to each individual at Liberty Training Group.

Christenia Krone

Chief Operations Officer

Christenia Krone has 15 years experience in business and retail management; using her skills in organization, customer service, training, and accounting.  From small businesses to large corporations, Christenia has increased revenue and productivity.  Her ability to accurately pinpoint a problem and provide creative solutions makes her an asset to Liberty Training Group. 

Christenia is new to the firearms industry and has already begun her training with Liberty Training Group's instructional staff.  These new skills will compliment the skills she already possesses, strengthening her ability to meet our customer’s expectations.

As the key operational executive for Liberty Training Group, Christenia will be handling logistics, scheduling and administrative functions.

Christenia takes pride in treating each individual with respect and fairness. You can expect to receive fair, respectful service with a commitment to ensure your class scheduling, training questions and training needs are met.

Joe Dubrovszky

Director of Information Technology

Joe Dubrovszky currently works for the US Army as an IT specialist & Project Manager. He has worked in that capacity for 7 years. Mr Dubrovszky also worked for 3 years with other Federal agencies, most notably with the Secretary for the Dept of Labor's office, Dr. Robert Reich as an assistant to the Presidents Committee for the Employment of Disabled Veterans and Students.

He has worked as an educator in the public school sector for 5 years as an elementary and secondary education teacher in the areas of Language and Social Studies.

He has a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University and a Masters Degree from Western Oregon University. He enjoys machine gun festivals,
snowboarding, ballroom dancing, and traveling overseas.

As Liberty Training Group's Director of Information Technology, Mr. Dubrovszky will oversee hardware and software maintenance and improvements, website management and special projects.
